Russian Clients Visit Weishi Heavy Industry

PART 01

Factory Visit and Technical Exchange

On July 28, 2026, a 13-member delegation from Russia visited Weishi Heavy Industry for exchange and discussions. Weishi Heavy Industry warmly welcomed its partners from afar and held a sincere and enthusiastic reception ceremony. Both sides introduced their respective companies, enhancing understanding and deepening their knowledge.

Accompanied by relevant leaders and R&D engineers from Weishi, the Russian customers visited the new machine assembly line in the workshop. The engineers provided a detailed explanation of the R&D and process details of Weishi's tunneling machines, and analyzed the technical parameters and design highlights of different models.

It is understood that the client had previously used blasting excavation, but this method has many drawbacks, including high safety risks, complex procedures, frequent over-excavation and under-excavation, and high storage and management costs. To address these issues and align with the green development trend of the energy industry, mining operations will gradually shift towards mechanized excavation. Based on the client's actual working conditions, the engineers addressed each technical question and simultaneously proposed systematic solutions and supporting suggestions.

PART 02

Project site visit and exchange

On July 29, 2026, in order to visually demonstrate the strength of Weishi's project cooperation, the client group took the high-speed rail to the cooperative mine in Pingdingshan, Henan Province, to conduct an on-site inspection underground.

This project involves a coal mine roadway, 1800m long, with an 11° downhill slope and a 6m x 4m cross-section. The rock is white sandstone with a hardness of 80-90MPa. The roadway roof is fractured, requiring extensive support. Since the introduction of the Weishi 280D roadheader in January 2026, the monthly advance has consistently exceeded 100 meters.

The project manager led the client down into the mine to observe the equipment in operation, demonstrating the stability, efficiency, and adaptability of the Weishi 280D under complex mining conditions, providing a direct view of the equipment's superior quality and ability to overcome challenging obstacles.

This on-site inspection showcased Weishi Heavy Industry's standardized project operations, standardized construction processes, rigorous quality control system, and long-term operation and maintenance advantages, fully demonstrating the company's solid on-the-ground service capabilities and good industry reputation.

Background and Prospects of Cooperation

Currently, global energy extraction is accelerating its transformation towards "safety + efficiency + green," with intelligent tunneling and one-stop services becoming the mainstream direction of industry development. Russia possesses abundant energy reserves, and its mines have an urgent need for modern mining practices, leading to a continuously growing demand for safe and efficient tunneling equipment.

Weishi Heavy Industry's high-power series hard rock tunneling machines are adaptable to complex geological conditions, with technical specifications highly compatible with Russian mining conditions, exhibiting strong adaptability and reliability. We look forward to using this visit as a starting point to deepen cooperation with Russian mining companies in equipment import and project implementation, establishing a regular exchange platform to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
